We Have to be Thankful

After the tragic events in London this weekend, it is once again time to stand back and reflect… and to, above all, give thanks. In particular to those courageous people who protect us in the line of duty. The emergency services. I am saying thank you.

Last night’s charity concert for Manchester, in Manchester, proved that love has to win and, for me, music has always been a way of creating love, and hope and that tremendous power of standing together: the universal consciousness. We stand and we sing together. That is a very powerful thing.

So I just want to say that we must choose love over hate, peace over war. Respect for one another over selfishness.

That is my Monday message… have a wonderful new week and embrace this day… with gratitude. Because you can, and this new week starts without some people that had no choice.
