Writing Journeys

A short post this morning, as lots of work and writing is taking a little hiatus this week while I wait to hear from my agent and plan the next novel! Though I hate not to write, but sometimes it allows the mind some thinking time which is no bad thing.

I had a lovely chat with a potential new client yesterday who has written his first crime novel and I love that, to really get to the nitty-gritty nuts and bolts discussion on plots and style, etc. It reminds me of just how much there is to this writerly process and what a weird and original job this is to do!

I look back at my own journey and am quite amazed at how far I’ve come!

So have a great Thursday and if you haven’t been on the CafeLit site, do check out the advent opening of short stories each day as we count down to Christmas! You might even have a short Christmas story for us!

Here’s yesterday’s: http://cafelit.co.uk/adventdayfifteen2015.html
